We are proud to announce our dedicated Korean rescue partner, Band For Animal, has opened Safe House, a short-term rehabilitation center and holding facility for our NYC-bound Korean rescues. This brand new, privately-run facility in Ilsan, Korea, features state-of-the-art services for our dogs, including light treatments to medically address skin conditions, advanced air filtration systems, and complete indoor climate control.
All drinking water in the facility is purified using an advanced ultraviolet light filtration system to kill bacteria. There are bathing stations for on-site grooming and individual crates to encourage crate training in preparation for adoption. This center is truly the only of its kind in Korea!
In addition to the impressive amenities, our rescue dogs will be given time to decompress from the stress of shelter life and start to prepare for adoption with a dedicated team of volunteer trainers and activists. This includes training the dogs to be on a routine of feeding, walking, socializing, and crate training.
None of this could be possible without your help and support! We thank you ALL for your hard work and dedication to help save our furry friends, we can’t wait to see how far we can go together!
