Olivia
Olivia was rescued in 2023 from an animal hoarding case on the outskirts of Gyeonggi Province. Around twenty animals were found living in severe neglect, suffering from advanced skin disease after years of uncontrolled breeding. When they were discovered, people called them “zombie dogs.” In reality, they were simply lives that had been forgotten.
Olivia arrived at our Bundang facility alongside three of her siblings. She was fearful, unsure of people, and lacked basic social skills. Healing took time. So did learning to trust.
With consistent care and gentle socialization, Olivia has transformed. Today, she is lively, affectionate, and expressive. She enjoys human interaction, shows her emotions freely, and carries herself with quiet confidence. She also has a playful, quirky side that brings joy to everyone who knows her.
While Olivia is now emotionally ready to meet a family of her own, some of her siblings are still healing. They remain fearful and continue to need time, patience, and stability.
